CBD Oil Secret Ingredient

Please excuse us while we get a little technical:

What makes CBD so powerful?

First, phytocannabinoids are the natural cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant. Currently over 60 cannabinoids have been isolated, with Cannabidiol (CBD), Cannabinol (CBN), and Terpenes being the most well-known.

Cannabidiol (CBD) contains no THC.  CBD is  non-psychoactive and even acts as an antagonist to THC, thereby negating any psychoactive effects. It has been recently confirmed that an Endocannabinoid system does indeed exist in humans.  CBD is thought to act upon this unique system in medically beneficial ways. Specifically, CBD is considered to react with receptors that send signals to naturally activate and strengthen the immune system, which wards off detrimental cells that are weakening it in the first place.

Phew… That wasn’t so bad, was it?

CBD and Pain Relief

Muscle soreness, joint pain, and stiffness from sports and past injuries are quite common, but that doesn’t mean they should be tolerated. If you feel that your chronic pain is keeping you from living your life to the fullest, consult your physician immediately and get more information about CBD as a potential treatment.

Modern scientific research is currently exploring the pain-relieving powers of cannabinoids and their effect on the endocannabinoid system. If your endocannabinoid system is out of balance, it can lead to Clinical Endocannabinoid Deficiency (CECD). Symptoms include chronic pain, inflammation, headaches, and other more serious conditions.

Numerous research institutions are focusing on CBD as a powerful pain-relieving agent. Of course, every patient may experience the effects of CBD differently, so be sure to consult your physician before use.

CBD Oil For Depression

The use of CBD oil in the potential treatment of depression is creating big waves in the medical industry. Researchers have been studying the effects of CBD on depression (along with a wide variety of other illnesses) and anticipated positive benefits suggest  a considerable potential for its use as an effective treatment.

Several studies have shown a high correlation between the beneficial effects of CBD on depression, and the beneficial effects of antidepressants on depression. Serotonin levels in subjects in both trials saw an increase, though there was a significantly higher rate of reportings of side-effects in subjects which were administered antidepressants. CBD patients, on the other hand, reported no adverse side-effects.

CBD Oil for Anxiety

Anxiety and depression are common afflictions that plague many people in virtually all aspects of daily life, including one’s social life, productivity (career or otherwise), and general physical well-being. Current clinical trials are focusing on the efficacy of Cannabidiol (CBD) as an antidepressant-like and anxiety-reducing medicinal treatment.

These studies include animal and consenting-volunteer models of anxiety, and so far the results strongly suggest an anxiolytic-like effect of CBD. Specifically, it was shown to reduce anxiety in patients with Social Anxiety Disorder. Evidence also suggests that CBD oil may be effective for the ongoing management of anxiety disorders over longer periods of time.

Individuals suffering from anxiety disorders who do not see relief from traditional pharmacology should consider CBD oil on an ongoing or “as-needed” basis. Effects of the compound differ from person to person, so be sure to consult your physician to help you find the correct dosage and keep up on current ongoing research about CBD.

CBD Oil

Research shows that CBD acts in conjunction with pharmaceuticals, complementing their impact and yet limiting the required dosage of those pharmaceuticals.
